MATHEMATICAL THEORY
Creating a mathematical theory about poker would be very complicated and very useless for the player; it would require very hard-working calculations and the edition of many volumes about this topic.
Some of the reasons why the development and understanding of this theory would be tedious are:
A) In this game different numbers of cards can be used.
B) The existence of the many combinations among the cards, the different types or use modalities.
C) The personal decision of the player who has to choose one of two possibilities (Example: straight draw or pair).
D) The possibility of camouflaged discard (strategies).
E) The alternative that any player has to bluff.
All these situations discourages the creation of a mathematical theory about the poker game since, after all, this is all about a sum of factors and personal attitudes of the interested parties, the actors of the play, where the tactics and strategies prevail and are the favourable or negative results of each play.
The chance exists in a minimum percentage and it could be an ingredient to be taken into account in any result.
